Effective filtering

It's NSF-certified to reduce cysts, particulates (class I), asbestos, lead, mercury, and more. (The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter are not necessarily in all users' water.) While it effectively removes contaminants from your water and ice, this filter also lowers the taste and odor of chlorine while retaining beneficial fluoride.

For the highest quality water and ice, your refrigerator's water filter needs to be changed over a period of time as its effectiveness at cleaning the water is reduced. For optimal results, you should replace this refrigerator water filter every 6 months to ensure clean, safe drinking water and ice.

Your refrigerator will even remind you when to change its filter, turning on an indicator light found near the water dispenser. Changing the filter is easy--just locate the old filter, twist and turn it until it becomes loose, then pull the old filter out and replace with the new filter.

This model (4396710) can be used to replace the following water filter model:

The 3 Levels of Home Security and Alarm Systems That You Need to Know For Your Complete Protection

!±8± The 3 Levels of Home Security and Alarm Systems That You Need to Know For Your Complete Protection

You are sleeping soundly in bed when you hear a noise down stairs... Your pulse begins to race as your body prepares you for the event that may happen if there is actually an intruder. The uneasiness in too intense to handle and the burn in your chest is telling what you should have already knows... that you are incredibly vulnerable. It is an instance like this that we wish we would have done more to protect ourselves and our families. The problem most people have is that they don't know much about in-home security. For your information, home security can come in many different forms.

One can be a simple alarm system that has magnetic door or window contacts and if the connection of these two magnets is broken the system will alert the owner and the monitoring company. Another may be a simple in-home alarm that isn't connected to a monitoring company. Still another is a video surveillance system that views and records all of the events around it. Home security may also refer to guns, guard dogs or other deterrents.

In short, in home security may refer to notifying potential intruders of possible security measures, technological equipment such as alarm systems and video surveillance and last but not least, physical security such as dogs or even possibly armed guards in some cases. The best scenario is to have all three working in tandem so you will be taken care of no matter what happens. Let's talk about how exactly each level of home security will actually work.

1. Visual deterrents are your first line of defense in home security protection. In a high number of cases these types of deterrents are sufficient to stop crimes of an "opportunistic nature". Such deterrents may include external lighting, warning signs, visible and audible alarms, fences, lockable gate entrances, visible CCTV cameras, garages or sheds, home security screens and neighborhood security patrols.

2. If those types of deterrents are not effective, the next level of home security protection is to take measures that deny access via actual security barriers and secure the home. Effective security must begin at the perimeter of your property and get progressively stricter as you move in toward the house. These measures might include lockable gates, boundary fences, window protection and quality locks. If these are indeed breached, then the alarm system will serve to notify the monitoring company to let them know of the breach and will send help. This is a system that monitors all entrances into the home and notifies one or both of either the home owner and/or the actual monitoring company. If one of the contacts, motion detectors or glass break sensors is set off, then the alarm system does the rest.

3. The next level is the actual physical protection within the home. I mentioned armed guards above, but that is unrealistic for most. But obvious possibilities are a guard dog (or any loud dog for that matter), guns, knives, a bat, etc... Any thing can be used as a weapon to protect yourself in the event that someone breaches the first two barriers. This really is where most people fail. You need to be prepared to defend yourself if someone does indeed intend to do harm to you or your family.

Don't forget that there are professional criminals all around us who know how to breach particular security devices. This means that you need to invest in a home security company that supplies quality products.

If you decide to look at them, the advantages of surveillance cameras goes far beyond prevention and includes documentation of the actual act itself. Whether we want to admit it or not, danger is everywhere, even in places that might seem safe at first glance. Although it isn't good to be paranoid, a strong dose of precautionary measure can and will go a long way toward assuring the protection of your family.

One of the most important things to a man is his family and his responsibility to protect them from any and all danger that may accost them. One of the best ways to do this is to use tools like a home security system to accomplish this. This way your family's safety is guaranteed.
